Former Syracuse Star Joins Philadelphia
The Philadelphia 76ers have welcome another young gun to their franchise. The team has recruited rookie guard Judah Mintz on an Exhibit 10 contract, thereby restricting his movement for the imminent season.
The 6’3,242 pounds Mintz attended college at Syracuse and wowed the Sixers in summer league competition. Mintz contributed great scoring, playmaking, and defensive fight, which landed him a chance in the squad roster.
Mintz has so far stepped up to the challenge, but his shooting beyond the arc is a work in progress. His skills will be refined further down in the G League while playing for the Delaware Blue Coats.
The Sixers’ undertaking to sign Mintz is hope for optimistic outlook for the team in the future. The Sixers have a young and talented core and they believe in the development of their players, which means success for the team in the years to come.
