2025 NBA Draft Scouting: Report for LA Clippers Pick Yanic Konan Niederhauser

The LA Clippers selected Yanic Konan Niederhauser with the 30th pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.

Niederhauser played a year at Penn State after transferring from Northern Illinois. He was named All-Big Ten Honorable Mention while averaging 12.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, and a Big Ten-high 2.3 blocks per game. He ranked 12th nationally in rebounding blocks.

Niederhauser was 6’11.25″ barefoot at the NBA Combine and possessed a 7’3.25″ wingspan, demonstrating great size and length at the center position. He demonstrated a strong rim protection, agility, and finish moves in the paint.

Scouts have said he still continues to work on his decision-making and defensive discipline, and his offense is somewhat limited. But he was a Combine riser, one of the biggest, and most believe that there is still plenty in the tank for him.

He is currently listed No. 42 on Jonathan Wasserman’s 2025 Prospect Big Board for Bleacher Report, making him a possible value pick for the Clippers in the latter part of the first round.
